"The unit was perfect for our needs. It was clean and quiet at night. The entire complex was nice and clean and the front office lady was super nice and helpful. Only thing I wish they had was curtains that blocked out the sun. I like it dark for my afternoon naps!

"We have stayed at Sandpiper Cove multiple times and have had wonderful experiences each time! The condos are perfect for us, the location is amazing, they are pet friendly if you travel with your dogs, and there is plenty to do right on the property. We will continue to stay at Sandpiper Cove when we visit Destin!

"Wonderful stay! Rental property just as pictured- clean, spacious for a studio. Rental community was very well kept, large community with outdoor activities and pet friendly. Property management company and security were very helpful and professional. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach; walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. We visited during end of season (late September) and community was quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay again!

"This unit is very cute with the Margaritaville theme. The kitchen had everything you would need except an ice make in the freezer. The bed in the unit slept well and it was very quite. The bathroom was a little odd with the step up to the toilet and tub. I have bad knees so this wasn't the best every time I needed to use the toilet or shower. The unit is so cute a complete remodel of the bathroom would go along way. I have stayed at other units on property and due to the no ice maker and step-up in the bathroom I won't pick this unit again. If neither of these items are of concern to you then you will like the unit and why I have named this mixed feelings.

"The room was pristine. The decor was cute. Plenty of space— there were 3 of us. Brand new sofa/sleeper. Was comfortable enough for a short stay. Pools & hot tub clean. Easy access to them. Lot of towels, dishes and linen. Cute patio. Easy check in process. Staff at gate and checking the premises 24/7. All very helpful and friendly.
Across the street from the beach — we drove over— always had parking.
Ricks Sand Bar & Grill- next to the private beach access, delivered great bar type food and service!
My only complaints — needs a new shower head/apparatus. And the steps — 23 to the 2nd floor. Was very tedious packing everything up to the room.

"Planned a quick get away to the beach. Just looking for a bed and bathroom really. Stumbled upon Margaritaville and couldn’t have been happier. Sandpiper Cove was awesome. We are looking forward to returning.

"Nice enough for two people and two dogs but we were on the second floor and there were too many steps for two senior citizens. There were two spots on one of the chairs and a broken place on the bottom of the mirror that I took pictures of and showed to the office people so we wouldn’t be held responsible. Short enough walk to the beach. Overall pretty good stay except the steps. Next time we will look for a condo with an elevator.

"This was our second year staying in this unit. We love the layout and convenience of the unit as well as the layout and convenience of Sandpiper Cove. Unit was clean. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.

"Its was a great time. We loved the location, neither the beach. The only thing I would like to see improved is the sheets are not very clean and the couch in the living room. The sheets and couch had stains on them. But overall it was great for the price.

"It was our first trip to Destin and unsure what our stay would be like. It surpassed all of my expectations. The room was clean and decorated very nicely. The Murphy bed was comfortable and my kids were fine on the pull out. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed. It was so nice to see beach chairs and boogie boards for us to use at the beach. The location was perfect being up front. Very close to the beach and near one of the swimming pools. Loved every minute of our stay and we were so sad to leave. Highly recommend this place to your family.

"The bed was so unbelievably uncomfortable we went and bought a $54 air mattress from Target to sleep on, which was 100x more comfortable than the mattress in the condo. The decorative “grass” on the ceiling has what looked like 5 years of dust buildup. More of an eyesore than a decoration. Other than that it was clean. I doubt I would ever stay there again.

"for our vacay we stayed in the Margaritaville studio which I loved the condo was nice and clean my kids loved it the theme of the condo and colors is amazing we would stay here again check in and check out was a breeze everything was excellent and it's in a great location

"The location of the actual condo was nice. Short walk to the beach, which was also nice. However, the actual condo needs major upgrades if not a total renovation. Other units and the pools also look like they at least need a paint job and some touching up. Our specific units shower was really terrible, halfway worked. The door was hard to open. Kitchen was small but nice. Sleeper sofa needs new mattress, as you could feel the bars underneath. I would recommended the general property but not the actual condo we stayed in.

"Absolutely loved our room! Very clean with a “homey” feel to it and loved the “Margaritaville” themed decor. Not far from the beach... right across the street and close to grocery stores and other shops. We will definitely be back again! Thanks for a great & relaxing stay!!

"Surprised the wife and our son with a long weekend to Destin. We stay at the Sandpiper Cove location pretty much every time we go to Destin due to great location and reasonable price. As far as the condo goes, this was probably my least impressive visit and if it were my first time, would probably keep me away from the site in the future. Fortunately, I know that it's not the norm for this older but great location.
The doors need fixed.. very hard to open as it gets stuck and the sliding door in the back is awkward to slide open. I had to place a spoon in the bathroom sink drain to keep the drain open for our water to exit the sink. The beds were fine for folding beds and the overall cleanliness was good. Just needs some additional TLC and updates to accomodate guests better!

"Sandpiper Cove great location, quiet, clean with security. Check-in was easy as was check-out. Other units looked great on the property unfortunately ours was very, very, dated. There was plaster missing on the ceiling, the toilet was rusted, pillows were old and nasty as was the bedding and wife refused to use the pillows. The walls had holes and paint missing. The tub had caulking missing. The kitchen had everything you would need for an extended stay and though small the unit was sufficient. Yet, the coffee maker looked like it was 19 years old and the stove from the 80's. It' sad because we really enjoyed the place but if they just repainted and updated furniture and bedding this would be five looks like they have not put a cent in this place in 20 years. I would stay here again but not in this unit.

"The Sandpiper Resort had plenty of activities to keep us busy and the proximity to the beach was great. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Condo was dated, but as expected from the pictures online. It was clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed playing the par 3 golf course on the resort. We would definitely consider staying at the Sandpiper Resort again.
