"Condo was as pictured. Wonderful & cozy for me. Found everything clean and as described. FYI - This condo does not have on the beach service BUT the owners have provided beach chairs to use. Easy & short walk to the beach. I love Sandpiper Cove condos.

"We stayed in unit 8115 and loved it the condo was VERY clean and was just enough space for three people. We all loved how close we were to one of the pools and it was only a short walk to the beach. I also like that they have security at the gate and walking around. I would most definitely recommend this unit and I would stay in it again. It’s perfect. ����️

"Very nice complex and condo. The only issue was the rug in the middle of the floor either needs to be cleaned or replaced. Our feet were black after walking on it.

"Everything was super clean and super easy for check in and check out. The pool is just steps away, and so clean! The Murphy bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our quick getaway.

"We have been coming to Sandpiper Cove for almost 50 years and this trip was great just like the others. Condo had all we needed with short walk to beach and right next to the pool. Very clean with washer and dryer and big shower. Will book this room again.

"This is my goto place to stay in Destin. Quiet gated community, but close to everything - Harborwalk, beach, great restaurants, grocery, et. al.
When I'm by myself, I stay in one of the studios. 8115 if its available.
I can't say enough good things about the staff. The place - not just the condo, the entire resort - is clean, well-kept, cared-for. The office staff are invariably welcoming and helpful.
I could say some things about the golf course, but they'd probably be censored. For a short pitch-and-put course, it's trickier than you might think. One of these days though, I'm going to get it right.
I've probably stayed at Sandpiper 20 times by now. Always enjoyed it.

"The Condo was super nice and clean. It is small but my husband and I stayed there with our toddlers and it was perfect for us. The fact that it's a walk across the street from the beach was awesome and it's not off the main road so you don't have to cross the very busy streets. There's also a pool right there in the backyard which was awesome. We couldn't have picked a better condo for us to stay at with out kids.

"PROS:
- less than 5 minute walk to the beach
- nice quiet pool right outside the back door
- more than enough space for 2 adults
- Murphy bed was more comfortable than expected
- available beach cooler/cooler bag
- Sandpiper Cove staff were extremely pleasant and helpful
CONS:
- beach chairs & umbrella needs to be replaced - both were either broken or in poor condition
- although nicely equipped, the kitchen was missing some basic stuff I've had with other vacation rentals. ie - coffee filters, salt & pepper and at least 1 roll of paper towels.
- floors could have been cleaner. Appeared not be be mopped, or not mopped well enough prior to our arrival. There was visible film/dirt when we wiped the floors.

"pros: close to the pool, first floor, easy short walk to the beach, also some beach accessories available for use. that was a nice bonus.
cons the trundle bed is not wonderful but its a trundle also it's small we had me my wife and 3 year old. Its ok for a weekend or for a couple but if you have more than one kid then it might be too crowded. no complaints otherwise.

"Decided to stay for a last minute anniversary celebration. Due to a miscommunication I was charged double. When the error was noticed the representative insisted that the charge was correct and I was wrong. When found that my information was accurate the representative did not offer a complimentary towel or much less even an apology for calling me a liar. The facilities are wonderful but this particular staff member made my stay there less pleasant.

"This condo was great!! It had everything we needed, it was clean, I especially really liked the roomy shower. The only thing I really did not like was that it was right by the pool so we couldn’t really keep our blinds open. Otherwise, everything else was perfect. We have stayed with Sandpiper Cove for four vacations and their process is very easy. I highly recommend staying with them.

"Sandpiper Cove was everything we wanted and more. We knew the unit we rented would be quite small, but surprisingly as mentioned before, it fit 2 adults and 2 children just fine, and that includes a pack-n- play set up by the kitchen! Everything was spotless, beds were very comfortable, and the rooms are super quiet (yay, since we had a baby with us!!)
It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach, if that. I will happily stay here again!

"This was one of the best vacations my husband and I have taken. The room was perfect for us, there was the prefect amount of space and it was very clean. The only problem we had were the loud dogs upstairs, but it was all taken care of by sandpiper employees once we told them what was going on.

"This is probably my 15th or 20th stay at Sandpiper and my 4th, maybe 5th at 8115.
I come in the spring for "me time" and my wife and I come in the fall for 6 weeks or so.
The location is great, near Harborwalk and the great restaurants, and easy walking distance to the beach, grocery, shopping, and restaurants when the traffic gets bad.
The condo was immaculate when I got there (and I hope was the same when I left). The property manager has done a lot to keep the grounds and common areas looking good. The golf course looks like a country club. Still hate it though - very frustrating unless you're very good, which I'm not. Still play it every day, though -- one day I'll get it right.
I do wish the owners of 8115 left a guest book. I would like to tell them how much I enjoy staying in their condo.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Cove. We have come to this property more than once now, and will continue to visit. Our unit was clean and accommodated our needs perfectly. We have two small children who shared the pull out couch bed. My husband and I slept on the Murphy bed. The property has five swimming pools, which is SO wonderful because it means everyone staying on site is not sharing one swimming pool. There is a pool directly behind our unit, so the convenience is fabulous. There’s not a better place to stay in Destin for the price and all the amenities that come with the property. The beach is either a short drive or walk across the street. We love that it is a private beach and it is not too crowded. Finally, I will say that we felt very safe at the property. The security is present as you come through the gate and they check to make sure EACH car coming through is supposed to be on the property. The worst part of our stay is when we have to leave!

"Our stay at Sandpiper was great. The condo was spotless. Check- in and check-out couldn’t have been easier. The location is great. Just across the street from a beautiful, private beach. There is a wooden walkway to the beach so you don’t have to lug your beach stuff through the dunes. I would definitely stay at Sandpiper Condos again. In fact, we are already planning our next trip!!

"I have stayed at Sandpiper at least a dozen times. The staff is great and the grounds always well-kept. Location is perfect: Close to all of the Destin attractions, but just far enough off the road to be quiet and private. Near the beach and has it's own golf course -- short, but challenging.
Sandpiper Cove management service is always helpful and responsive - at least twice they have helped me make changes when I needed to change dates or needed a bigger condo at the last minute. Above and beyond!

"My husband, children, and I had a wonderful stay. The condo was neat and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. My boys are 7 and 3 and enjoyed being able to walk out the back door to the pool. The washer and dryer in the unit is an added bonus. We’ll be staying in this studio again next year.

"I have stayed at Sandpiper 8 times in the past 6 years, sometimes alone, sometimes with family. Every time has been good-to-great! Staff is wonderful and always helpful. It's relatively quiet, even with kids around. I don't like hi-rises and enjoy the two-story architecture.
This was the first condo development in Destin. That has both good and bad points. Land must have been less expensive when this was built, because it is spread out with plenty of green space, including its own golf course. (For a short pitch-and-put course, this one is tough. The fairways are narrow and crooked, the greens slope, and the rough is definitely rough. Par isn't easy.) The buildings are short, not crammed together, so you don't have so many noisy neighbors. There is plenty of parking close to your condo; the pools aren't crowded into a tiny space; and there is frontage on the ocean, the bay, a canal, and a lake, all on-site.
The condos date from the late 70's and 80's. Most have been remodeled or refurbished at least once; the last two we stayed in looked brand new with modern decor, appliances, and furniture. I suggest you look closely at the pictures and descriptions and book early. (I will say, the one time I booked into a not-so-nice condo, the manager, Tammy, and her crew got us re-booked into one of the nicest condos we have ever enjoyed.

"I love staying at sandpiper cove. My family and I have been coming here for the last 30ish years. I really like staying in this particular condo for lots of reasons--the pool is right outside the back door and it has a washer and dryer. I have stayed in 8115 the last two summers and planned my vaycay this year around its availability. I plan to do the same next year!

"I was disappointed in the grounds (cigaret butts all around our porch entrance . And the trash dumpster fences were poorly maintained. The pool area was great. We did not get any confirmation of our rental and had to call to get check in procedures (arrived after 9pm) at which time the young gate keeper said, "Your place is in one of those buildings over to your right.? So we spent twenty minutes looking at every number to find ours. The studio was great.

"Sandpiper Cove is a Vacation we take Every year for at least the last 12 Years. We Stay at these Condos because even though they are older they are very well kept up. "My husband and I make plans to visit Destin at least once a year, and when we do we always stay at Sandpiper. Their prices are great and their facilities are always clean. We have stayed in several different rooms and, although each one is decorated differently, they are always very well maintained. I highly recommend Sandpiper.
