*Complimentary access to Sandpiper Cove’s five sparkling swimming pools and three hot tubs located conveniently throughout the property along with charcoal grills, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts and a pitch and putt 9-hole golf course. Two of our pools are heated for your comfort during the winter months. On-premises food, The Sand Flea (beachside Tiki-Bar open March-October) and Louisiana Lagniappe (upscale seafood waterfront dining with a Creole flair, with casual attire permitted.)

"Check-in was simple. We arrived around 1130pm. Front gate attendant had our door and beach gate codes. Following morning a quick final check-in at the main office was a breeze.
Unit was as advertised. I think the pics undersell it slightly. It is a perfect studio condo for me and my 6 year old. Murphy bed was comfortable enough. Everything was clean. A/C worked flawlessly; and it was necessary with heat indexes either side of 105.
The location was great. It does overlook Gulf Shores Dr. so traffic can be heard. I suggest bringing a fan to drown that out. Small pool was directly out the door. Beach was an easy 5 minute walk or you can drive and park in the private parking across the road at Sandpiper's beach access. Free par 3 golf course is included.
Beach area was fantastic. Line forms before 9 below walkway on the beach to get your chair/umbrella assignment.
The Sand Flea bar/restaurant on the beach was handy. We ate breakfast one morning and it was delicious. We had the breakfast tacos and burrito.

"Very clean condo. Within walking distance to the beach. Decor was “beach y”. The condo was actually quiet even though the back facing the main road. We didn’t realize beach chairs and an umbrella came with the condo. Although there was a sign below the TV. A suggestion would be to put that sign on the counter or table.

"We honestly were expecting a more updated unit based on the reviews that we read. Being located next to the road, this unit was very noisy with noisy traffic going by all night. The a/c unit also had a noisy fan. The bed was okay for a pull down bed. But the unit really could benefit from a remodel. There were cracks in the tiles, the kitchen was outdated and the furniture was stained in some areas. The tub/shower is also large and deep and therefore very difficult to get into. The office staff was great and the location is good, with a quick walk across the roadway to get to the beach, which is beautiful and it was nice to have 2 chairs and an umbrella waiting for us.

"Good location . Close to pool , laundry and beach .towel service was not available so had to search for quarters in order to do wash.. condo was well equipped with kitchen appliances /utensils /cookware , as well as bedding. Great stay, will be back!

"We love staying at Sandpiper- and the closer to the beach the unit, the better!!!! Which is why this unit #8106 was perfect! It maximumized the space to create living room kitchen and bedroom all in one studio. Bathroom was pretty big for size unit. You are very close to Gulf Drive, but we travel with a sound machine (white noise) so no issues there. Changes I would’ve loved: a better mattress for the Murphy bed- you know it’s not going to be the best mattress, but it’s old and squeaked (like an air mattress) anytime one of us shifted-even a little.

"Loved SPC Only disappointment was my A.C. did not work! 81 degrees in room. Men in my room till 9pm the 1st night and men in room 2nd day 1/3 day 3rd day workers in room a short time.Installed a portable A.C. 1st night and that's fine. But it took up A LOT of my very limited vacation time. I felt some type of compensation should have been offered to me. It was not.

"Our stay was satisfying overall. I have been coming with my family for years to sandpiper cove but this was my first time renting my own condo. Of course, my budget was lower when coming on my own so this condo was a lower quality than what I was used to. However for the price, it was a good condo. A few minor things here and there that did not work in the condo but overall the room was nice.

"I would move to this condo in a second. It was very close to the beach, pool and laundry. It was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable. We had just enough space for two to be comfortable. The only issues we had was the towel rack was taped (literally) to the wall and a lot of light bulbs were burnt out. I also wish the linen exchange stayed open later. We had a fantastic time, and I look forward to our next stay. I hope we get this condo again.
