"Picked this rental at the last minute. I looking for something pet friendly that didn't break the bank. I was pleased with it. The unit was clean and cozy. This studio size is just big enough for two people and a small dog. This unit you can see the beach from. Easy walk across the street to the private beach area. (No pets allowed) The community is set off from the main highway. It has multiple pools and alot of green space for my dog. And there is everything close by. Really the only downfall we experienced was that the neighbors upstairs had heavy feet.

"This unit was beautiful and accomodating. We stayed for 2 nights after we decided to extend our stay and so had to switch one room over. Glad we did because it was very beachy oriented and felt very relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed and oberall clean. The only thing I can say needed some upgrading was the sofa bed as you can feel the metal rod and is not comfortable at all. The actual queen size bed itself was also not very comfortable. Give it a 7.5 out of 10.

"This was a cute condo with balcony. Close to the beautiful beach with beach chair service. 24/7 security on site. Staff in the office was exceptional. I would highly recommend this place. This was my first time to Destin and I will definitely be back.

I would like to say that there should be a change machine at the Laundry. We went many places trying to find quarters with no luck.

"The condo is within close proximity to the beach and one of the pools on the property. The free beach chair rental was also a plus! The unit was clean and all appliances were in good working order. The security staff were helpful and friendly. The only downsides were the comfort level of the Murphy bed and the internet connection was spotty at times. Overall, it is a good place to stay!

"Very happy about the location as you can walk to the beach. The listing states free beach chair service which is available right but you only get two. We had three people in out party and thankfully we didn’t have four because there is no way we would have been able to pull out the “sofa bed” and the bed that folds out from a closet. I was expecting a one bedroom because the pictures make it seem like there is one. The main bed is hard and uncomfortable and folds out of a closet. Our third person had to sleep on the couch the entire stay. Unit was clean and area was quiet. Had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. I just wish they were more clear about the sleeping arrangements because you pay a lot of money.

"I was very pleased with Sandpiper Cove. Even though it was a studio, it is as very comfortable and we had plenty of space for the 4 of us. Quiet complex, great location to the beach, pool and hot tubs an added bonus. Will definitely be back!

"1st floor condo literally steps to guard hack then cross the street to be on the beach! Less walking than some beachside condos to be on the beach.
Condo was clean, as described and felt a little bigger than expected. You can see a sliver of ocean from the deck, which is big enough for two. Needed a little help with the TV and staff was awesome to come and take care of it. Beach service- signed up but it was a hunt to find the chairs- never did - just took a couple which was so nice. I would love to come back!

"Rental was very used. The floor was very uneven as if it was falling through in some places. I tried not to walk in certain spots. The doors to the closet kept coming of the tracks. The front screen door would not close at all. The mattress pad on the sofa bed had rust all over it. But the beach was breathtaking and the very short walk to the beach and pool from our room made it worth the few issues with the room. Also the free beach chairs was a nice plus.

"The property is very well kept. The management and security are very professional. We felt very safe. The location of the condominium was very convenient and across the street from the beach. The only negative about the condo unit itself is the bed. The bed is a Murphy bed and very uncomfortable. We went and bought an extra blanket with some padding to lay on the remainder of the stay. The other bed option is a pull out couch which is even more uncomfortable and had rust on it. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this specific unit due to the road being right outside your window and it is very loud at all hours of the night. If you are okay sleeping with loud traffic and no fan, this unit will work for you. Cute overall, just needs a major upgrade on the bedding. Would definitely stay at Sandpiper Cove again, just not this particular unit.

"Sandpiper Cove has it all. Excellent service from the front gate,the office management team to the beach café to the beach service. Location is great and taking the water taxi was a lot of fun. Very easy to get to the beach. Louisiana Lagniappe Restaurant restaurant on the property is great also. I will definitely stay at Sandpiper Cove again.

"A very nice condo, 1 block from the Gulf, across the drive from the pool. Par 3 golf course that was fun. Nice to be close! This unit was a studio. The mattress was a queen, the comfort of mattress and pillows was ok, meaning no memory foam. Only made breakfast at the unit. Kitchen has everything you need. Bathroom has a step up to toilet and tub, which is very weird. No drawers for your clothing and no hangers in closet. Screen door had a huge rip in it. Chair at kitchen table had very loose legs. The closet door sagged and they had their personal things in the closet. Yes, I would stay again, it just needs some repairs and updates.

"Just got back from staying at Sandpiper for four days to get away and reset. It’s been a few years since I’ve stayed and I was really happy with all the updates in the condos, very comfy. Location and access is the best, couldn’t be beat. Price was very reasonable as well. Thank you for providing a great place to come enjoy the beach...and I love that you support having pets to come stay!!!

"I felt misled by the pictures of the unit. I thought we had an actual bed, it was actually a Murphy bed with a ****** frame and mattress. On the last evening the unit lost power, and something happened to the AC unit. The condo was 83°+ from 10 pm until we checked out Monday morning. The security house guy tried his best to help, but the ****** bed coupled with the loss of AC made the stay miserable.

"The location was great in relation to the beach as well as the local restaurants. The ease of access into the condo was very simple. The room was in good shape and clean. The only negative thing I would say is the bed was very very noisy.

"Just got back from two weeks at Sandpiper Cove in unit 8105, a newly refurbished studio. New furniture is still a bit stiff but attractive. Kitchen is better stocked than most such units. Bedding was comfortable so slept well while I was there. Bathroom is in good shape but could use some updating also. Biggest issue I had was location. It's great for a walk across the road to the beach but it is noisy because it backs up to Gulf Shore Drive. If you want to spend your time in air-conditioned comfort, it's probably ok, but I like having windows open and it was too noisy for that. Overall, I would recommend both Sandpiper Cove and unit 8105.
