On-premises food, Rick’s Sand Trap Bar & Grill (beachside Tiki-Bar open March-October) and Louisiana Lagniappe (upscale seafood waterfront dining with a Creole flair, with casual attire permitted.)

"Great size for a family of 5. Less than one minute to the private beach. Private parking lot. No beach service but can be purchased for $48.00 for the day. Get out there early in order to get a front row setup and then go on about your day until you're ready for the beach.

"Another wonderful stay at Sandpiper Cove! The SPC staff is always fun & friendly and checking in/out is super easy. This was our first time staying in 2139 and we LOVED it! The decor was cute & beach themed, the bedrooms had plenty of drawers to unpack your bags & the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc... just be sure to bring salt, pepper, Clorox wipes, etc. The view from the (large) balcony was amazing! We liked being close to Rick’s Sand Trap Beach Bar & Grill... quick walk for food & drinks. We always enjoy our stay at SPC and will absolutely stay in 2139 again! Fall break in Destin is a must! Much less crowded than summertime, weather was amazing and the water was perfect and refreshing.

"We really enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Cove. The location was great. Balcony had a great view of the ocean/beach. Unit was clean and accurate to the pictures in listing.
Proximity to snack bar was really nice.
While not a big deal, the only issue with condition was a broken towel bar in bathroom.
We will definitely stay again.

"The condo was steps from the beach, the large deck gave a full ocean view, and every room was perfectly decorated. It was clean, stocked with everything you need, and comfortable.

"This rental was perfect for our gettaway with the kids. We arrived from out of town early and were allowed in the unit two hours early by a very friendly staff at the office. This unit was not stocked with spices/cooking needs but had every pan and appliance you could need if you plan on cooking. We ate out the entire time and only used the coffee maker. The pull out couch mattress was pretty flimsy and had a spring poking up on one side but worked just fine for the younger kids. The couches were a little aged and one chair had a spring loose on the back but wasn't uncomfortable to sit on. The house was immaculate and the master shower had two heights of shower heads so if you have a very tall husband or son like I do, they will appreciate that! The master bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on. I literally started searching online to buy that bed for our house! Overall the location and cleanliness was our main priority and it was exactly what we needed. We would absolutely rent this unit again!

"This property was rented for a Graduation Celebration Vacation. It was our first time to Destin and even with the prior tropical storm reminiscence we had a great time rain & all. The condo was spacious for 4 and 8 at times when we hosted dinner with another family. The location and views were great however this made parking a issue at peak beach going times. It would be nice to have an assigned parking spot. The condo was well stocked however, don’t forget started supplies: paper towels, coffee & filters, sugar, salt & pepper and laundry detergent.

"Quick 3-day getaway, no car. It was a last minute trip and there were no rental cars at the airport but luckily, our condo was very walkable. We had no issues getting to groceries, restaurants, and it was right on the beach which was great. The view from the balcony was perfect and we saw so many dolphins cruising the 2nd sandbar. The condo was clean and well appointed. My only recommendation is they should have salt and pepper, coffee filters, and a pizza cutter.

"This condo was in a good location with a great view. The kitchen is VERY well stocked. It was nice having the washer and dryer. There were four boogie boards on the balcony to use so that was nice.
The condos had some damage from Hurricane Sally including two of the walkways to the beach being wiped out. This condo in particular had a couple of stairs replaced leading to the front door. There are some weak spots on the left side of the balcony that need to be replaced. The snack shack was closed so not sure if it was out of season or because of damage it sustained. The golf course around the property is fun. Office staff was very nice.

"We had a very good time under the different situations pertaining to COVID 19. Didn’t run around as we would have liked, but enjoyed the beach! The sofa probably needs to be replaced. Not very comfortable. Most sleeper sofas aren’t. Would be nice to have the higher toliets in bathroom. The lower ones feel like you’re on the ground. That’s not good for older people.

"My family of 4 rented #2139 for a week of fun in Destin! It was amazing! A beautiful condo with everything you need and it sits right on the beach! No walking across the street! You just walk right down your steps and to the beach! We would stay here again!

"Beautiful Condo unit. Very close beach access - just a few steps from the front door. The condo is in a great location, close to the restaurants and attractions we enjoy. This is the 2nd time we've stayed with Sandpiper Cove, and we have had a great experience both times.

"We liked the layout of the condo and we had a very nice view. We found it to be clean and the staff was very nice. We like to cook and the kitchen was well stocked to do so. We did find that the sink had a crack in it, and there was a sign (that appeared to have been there for quite a while) that asked us not to use half of the sink. That's not the rental agency's fault; that's on the owners. Replace your sink. The appliances appear to be a combination of old and brand new, like they are in the process of replacing--all worked. Minor suggestion, but I would have appreciated more than one dish towel. I would stay there again.

"Had a great week at Sandpiper. We stayed in this condo before and it has been upgraded. Everything was very nice, although the coffee pot has seen much better days. Very nice view and easy access to everything. We look forward to staying there again.

"We always stay at SPC, and always enjoy our stay. This was our first stay in 2139, and it wasn't as well kept as other units we have used in the past. AC wasn't working when we arrived, but maintenance quickly resolved the issue. The dryer had a bracket broken which caused the lint filter not to stay attached. The toilets didn't flush well. It wasn't a bad experience, just wasn't up to par with our previous stays in other units. Overall, Sandpiper is an excellent place and we really enjoyed our stay.

"Our expended family have been coming to Sandpiper Cover for almost 30 years. We enjoy living for a week on the beach and doing beach things. Our family enjoys being together, going out to eat, reading and walking/running on the beach. Sandpiper Cove has been our choice destination to these activities. Some of the units are becoming a bit dated. Nothing has really changed in our unit for over 10 years. We would like to see it a bit freshened up.

"The staff was kind enough to add a barbacue grill upon our request. We spent most evenings grilling seafood looking out into the gulf. It was very relaxing. The condo has been updated recently, the kitchen has a large island, the living room overlooks the beach. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Will definitely recommend.
