"A simple roll of paper towels would be so nice for Your guests AND allows us to keep your place cleaner! Some unintended water on the kitchen floor could be wiped up quickly instead of tracked all over your floors!
The toilet paper should not even qualify as TP because it is so thin.
Lastly…. THAT AC VENT IN THE BEDROOM THAT EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT …. Fix it would ya?? Truly can ruin an otherwise great day when you can’t sleep because of the rattle. It’s been complained about for at least 3 years. The fact that it’s STILL a problem indicates you don’t care about the quality of our stay once you get our
Money.

"We agree with other reviews saying the AC fan was insanely loud and rarely shut, even though we had it set at 75. It wouldn’t take much effort to clean the shower mildew and there was a water leak in ceiling over the shower. Other than that, the unit was well updated and maintained. Kitchen was well stocked, balcony furniture was comfortable, and living area was pleasant.

"This was our first time at sandpiper and we loved it so much. While the unit we stayed at 2117 had its flaw’s we still genuinely loved sandpiper overall and will be back but maybe just will try a different unit. First night we had a few issues but were quickly resolved with the help of a lovely lady at the front desk check in. This units shower is comically small considering how large the bathroom is. Reminds me of a camper size shower. With that being said the carpets/rugs and couches were all in desperate need of updating/replacing. Not enough to steer us away from never coming back but definitely will try a different unit. Can’t wait to return!!

"It would have been great to have a smart TV in the living room and bedroom so that we could access our own apps. DVD players and HBO is obsolete in this day and age.
Also, the air conditioning vent blower was loud and drowned out the sound of anything else. Had to raise and lower the volume of the TV every time. Very annoying

"Great vac spot. Glad we paid higher rate for on beach instead of across street. Grounds not as pretty but sand starts at your door. Hard to walk in the deep sand to get to the wood walkovers.needs to be more wood walkways to units.Beach was perfect and condo was good. Mattress needs replaced and stairs need more lights for sure! It's hard for seniors to hold phone light and hold onto rails, carrying things.
Would not hesitate to rent again!

Or, sitting out on the Terrance watching the sun set, absolutely calming! Would have been great had the owner or management repaired the umbrella

"The condo was decorated very nicely, super cute and comfy, location was perfect, I loved how private everything was, and a short walk to the beach. I read a few reviews before booking and read more after I left. I was very shocked at some of the negative reviews because everything was perfect! Checking in and out was simple and the condo was very clean! I’ll for sure be back!!

"The condo was very cozy and we enjoyed our stay.
The only issue we had was we wanted to come in a day early and the phones at Sandpiper wasnt working and we couldnt reach anyone. I felt the website or facebook page should have offered an additional contact number as the condo was available. Also the cleaning crew had left the ventfan heater on in the condo and the unit was about 76 degree when we entered the unit. the vent fan heater should be marked so as to not be left on.

"We had an issue with pigeons on a balcony early in our stay. Maintenance took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. We like the location of Sandpiper Cove and the view from this unit is good. We hope to come back.

"We had a great experience in this condo. There were a few minor things that could have made it a total 5-star rating. Kitchen was short on pots and pans. Found a coffee cup and plate in cabinet that were not clean. One cabinet should be left empty for guests to store food. Needed a baking sheet. There was only one dish towel in kitchen. Coffee maker did not have auto off. Ice maker was empty when we got there and took a long time to make ice. Then it wouldn’t dispense through the door. Dishwasher was extremely loud. A second stool for the tall table on the deck would have been nice. Lights on the stairs would have been a welcome safety feature. Even with porch light on, we had to use flashlight. We loved the location, the views, the large bathroom, the layout, the furnishings, and the washer/dryer. We would definitely stay there again.

"I have only 2 negative comments:
First, the unit had no washer and dryer. This was quite a problem, and in all of our stays at Sandpiper Cove in the past (more than 5), our units have been equipped with washer and dryers. I was shocked, and it made the stay less enjoyable.
Secondly, and much more of a minor negative, the kitchen was not well-stocked with cookware. There was no skillet, no large pot, and really only 1 saucepan. I actually had to go to the store and purchase pots and a skillet for our stay.

"We had a very nice vacation. The view was lovely. The bed was comfortable. A bureau would be handy in the bedroom. The two large TV units need to be removed, especially the one blocking part of the patio door. It would be nice to have the dining table by the patio door for a view while eating. All said, we had a great holiday. Cheers!

"Condo was great. There are ocean views from the front door to the large deck on the back of the unit. It's perfect for two people. Never have experienced the Gulf waters that warm in Oct. Had to leave early due to "Michael". Sandpiper really got lucky.

"This property is located in the middle of Destin, not on the main road but right off of it allowing easy access to shopping etc. We enjoyed using the many pools and easy access to the beach. We stayed on the Gulf side and getting to the beach was very easy. If you stay on the other side you have to cross the street. The floors when we arrived were dirty but we used the mop in the closet to clean them up. Other than that there were no real complaints.
The only units on the Gulf side with direct beach access from the patio are a few on the first floor. Some units share a common balcony so make sure you call and confirm what you are getting as it doesn't specify any of this on the website. Ours did not have a washer/dryer but we utilized one of the many laundry machines on the property (all on the non-Gulf side). $1.50 for a wash, same for the dryer.
