"The great thing is that Sandpiper Cove is a safe and secure centralized location. The condo was really nice and well appointed. The only drawback was the sofa was not comfortable at all and even broke down in places. But the other furniture was nice and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals

"The condo was perfect for our family of 4. We were able to take walks to the beach and around the area. We felt very safe considering the front gate security will only let people staying there in and out. The condo was perfect since we wanted to cook for our family and had the luxury of doing our laundry after long days at the beach. We also utilized the golf course which was perfect for families with small kids, it was too big or too small. Pools and hot tubs around the complex’s were nice at the end of the day.

"The condo was nice. Need to invest in new chairs for the outside. I prefer staying on the canal but this condo served our purpose which was a place to relax after spending the day on the beach.

"Sandpiper Cove’s setup is super frustrating. The entire property is fenced in so even though this unit is right across the street from restaurants and stores you have to double around and walk 25 mins to reach them.
Our AC broke during the stay and management sent someone out who didn’t fix it and didn’t inform us they didn’t fix it so we had to waste our time arranging a second person to come out.
Unit is pretty dated (bed is really saggy).

"This is our third year staying at Sandpiper Cove. We love all of the facilities. The beach, golf course, pickle ball courts, pool,hot tubs, restaurants, etc. The cost of the units are very economical.
Unit 2059 is a great unit. I loved the French doors that open out to the large balcony. I loved watching the golfers every morning while I drank coffee on the balcony.
The staff at Sandpiper Cove are extremely friendly and helpful.
My only complaints are:
1. The floors of our unit were extremely dirty.
2. The shower curtain had black crud on it, which spread to the tub. I had to buy a new curtain.
3. The bathroom walls need painted.
Overall, we loved our monthlong stay at Sandpiper Cove.

"Excellent location within walking distance to the beach. Great amenities including a 9 hole par 3 course which is well maintained. Rental and security staff provided excellent service. Will certainly return. This unit was not as nice as the others we’ve stayed at. Couple small issues which include missing panel on screen door and no golf clubs in the unit (all other units we’ve stayed at had a couple sets to use).

"I've stayed at sand piper many times, I would def. recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Destin...HOWEVER this rental was filthy, the bed broke when I sat on it (i'm not a bigger person) there was stains all over the chair and dust everywhere, dirt all over the floor our feet were literally black within minutes of showering I'm not one to complain EVER but sadly with covid and everything I expected it to be a little more clean. Will def. be back to sand piper just not this location.

"The unit met all of our needs for family of 4. I would recommend a few tiny upgrades for rental purposes: refrigerator needs new seal because the doors will not close, outlet in vanity did not work, bedroom could use ceiling fan or turn air down to cool room? Bed is firm but fine. Screen door is old. Unit decor is okay but doesn't really have any theme but not there for decor. Unit location is in cul-de-sac so parking can be hard to get late at night but able to park in front of other buildings and walk down twice in one week. Overall, close to canal which we wanted so happy in our decision to rent unit.

"The condo was comfortable and very clean. The 9 hole golf course was a little pitch and putt. The tennis courts and swimming pools were very nice. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes. There is only one way in and out of the property. This property is located at the back. We had a problem with the toilet immediately. I called the desk and maintenance came right away to fix it. The beach and the water are absolutely beautiful!

"We had a great time in Destin this summer. The condo was situated perfectly between two pools so it was a very short walk to either one. The condo felt roomy enough for the family. The bedroom could use a fan or better cooling ventilation. The bed is roomy, but not very comfortable. I would sleep on the floor just to be in Destin, so it didn’t bother me too much. The beach is the highlight and it didn’t disappoint. Love being so close and having Rick’s to get a snack or lunch is always a treat. We always stay at Sandpiper Cove when we visit because it gives us everything we need and it’s so perfectly situated.

"It was good housing for a money we spent, the property location is perfect
for a beach assess, shopping and dining. Beds weren’t comfortable, but ok for a vacation stay. The only one problem we had we didn’t have linens provided for a couch, we did get them next day, air conditioner is a little bit noisy in the living room, it’s not enough air in the bedroom, I think the AC system is just old. I’d suggest to upgrade a roster, it’s just burns bread and put a hairdryer in bathroom.

"Great place, Recommend, would stay again
Easy friendly checkin & after hour arrival. Surprisingly spacious, very clean 1 br for family with young kids, great & comfy to come back to after day of play. Good amenities inside: wifi, cable, appliances w/ laundry, linens; Outside 6min walk to private beach, many onsite pools, attentive friendly security, helpful housekeeping & front desk.
Just bring laundry detergent,dish soap, & personal shampoos - dishwasher packets & bath soap was provided. Also, just wish the community had pedestrian gates to access Harbor blvd to Target & Callahans deli. The weather is great for walking the short distance otherwise you have to drive or walk all the way around the gated community.

"I very much enjoyed staying in unit 2059. I was originally renting from a owner in different unit and it was horrible and dirty. When I called Sandpiper's office they were able to rent me a great unit immediately and were extremely helpful. I am telling everyone to go this route instead of VRBO. There may be good units with VRBO but I will not chance having that experience again for my vacation since they were no help with original problem. We really enjoyed Mimmo's, Harbor Walk, Bella Sera and Destin Snorkle 3 stop cruise.
