"I wanted to find a place that was comfortable for me and my employees to feel like we were at home but still on vacation. This home was everything that I was hoping it would be it made all expectations. We came in for a funeral for one of my past employees so it was a lot of people coming in and out, but the home was very accommodating. The only thing that I would complain about was I wish there was in half bathroom so any other guest that we’re not staying doesn’t have to go into someone’s bedroom and the women that stayed complained that the shower was not hot enough, but I do know; They love steamy showers lol

"Everything was great. We loved the unit. The only issue we had was we were 10 people and no kitchen table. The kitchen counter had 5 bar stools, so we ate in shifts. Also, we usually play games/cards at night. This year the kids were happy they weren’t force to do so and play on their phones.

"This was our third year coming to Sandpiper Cove. Once again, it did not disappoint. We go to the Destin for the beautiful beaches and Sandpiper Cove is located just perfectly in front of the beach. With multiple pools on property, we had two of them very close to us. Stores are very close by incase something is forgotten at home. Our stay has never been dissatisfying. We are already looking at dates for next summer.

"This is our third time staying in this unit. We love the location and the room for our family. The only disappointments we have is that the kitchen could be better stocked. The house sleeps 10 and we were there with our 8 children and there are only 7 plates. There should at least be enough plates for the number of people that can stay there. The garbage can is humongous and doesn't fit a standard size garbage bag. But they only give you 3 bags for the entire stay. We go through 1 bag each day with all of our people. The place is great just remember to bring toilet paper, laundry and dish soap - laundry soap was non-existent and there were 2 packets of dishwasher soap. So the home is lovely and works so well. These minor things don't stop us from coming back but just things to be aware as you plan what to bring.

"We have stayed at Sandpiper cove before but just in a different unit. This was our first time in this unit. The view was great! But there was some broken things with the unit. Like the swinging chair outside. It was not safe to be on. Also the upstairs bathroom sink was broken. We reported it but the owner would not respond to fix it. The flooring was coming up off the floor as well. So I believe sandpiper is a good place to stay. Just not in unit 0002. The owners need to take care of some things first.

"Although the February weather could have been better, We enjoyed our 10 days in unit # 2 at Sandpiper Cove.
The location close to the restaurant was great and the amenities can’t be beat.
We frequented Lagniappe and McGuire’s ��-great food and service.
The only things I might mention is the lack of adequate cookware and stools that are falling apart in the kitchen area.

"We rented the villa for my wedding in Destin and the location was perfect! Very close to everything in Destin and a lot of things in walking distance even. The walk to the beach was close and quick. Only downside was alot of the stools in the kitchen were in bad shape, 1 with a whole seat off and the others just very wobbly and unsturdy. Not a lot of kitchen utensils/equipment to cook meals but we made it work!

"The Villa was nice and clean. Love that it had been updated. A couple of things I wasn't satisfied with were minor. The washer was up too high to reach in and get clothes out. I felt the washer and dryer should swap places to allow easier access. The shower in bedroom off the kitchen was too small and the shower head did not move and when showering you were up against wall. I didn't feel that there were enough kitchen items for cooking use. No baking sheets, not enough utensils etc.
It was a very nice villa and would use again.

"The perfect home away from home! The location was great with active boys! They stayed plenty busy between the pickleball courts and golfing. The beach was a small walk away. My only complaint is the lack of cooking supplies! We ended up buying a pan and leaving it there. The condo could use pans and pots. Other than that, this place was perfect for our needs! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

"There were minor cleanliness issues....hair and dust on baseboard in upstairs bathroom.
And a large picture fell off wall in upstairs bedroom, scared us. It was put up with command strips and it randomly fell off.

"My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Cove. This is the 4th time I have rented a condo there and I will continue to come back. This place was beautiful. The pictures are great, but being there inside the condo was amazing! The owners paid special attention to making the place comfortable.
Our only criticism is that if you like to cook, there were only two pans, both in poor shape and no large pot. It would have been great to have a griddle or a toaster, even a cookie sheet for the oven. Also, having a roll of paper towels would have been nice too. It was difficult to prepare meals for a family of six with such limited supplies.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much and will return.

"What an awesome place to stay. It worked so well for us and our kids. The remodel is beautiful. We loved the location. Close to the pickle ball and tennis courts, not far from the golf course and just a short walk to the beach. Our only minor complaint is that the "full kitchen" could use a few more things. The dishes were just cheap and plastic, which is ok. But there wasn't a toaster, a bowl to mix a salad or cut up fruit into, no baking sheets or pans for the oven, no basic spices - salt or pepper. Those things would be nice to have but otherwise we had no complaints!

"We recently stayed at this Villa from Oct. 12- 18th for the 2nd time. We stayed there also last Oct. 2020. When we stayed a year ago, we had noticed that it was not being kept up very well, mainly regarding the need of purchasing new deck furniture. The wicker tables were busted thru last year & not usable & there was no table at all on any deck for your family to sit at. Just recently on this trip. We found the busted sidetables had been removed & were not replaced. This Villa sleeps 10 but there is no where to enjoy sitting outside except for a 2 seater love seat on the two upper decks & 2 single chairs on the large lower deck as one plastic one was broken & not usable. Other Villas have picnic tables, hammocks & swings... We really couldn't enjoy the decks with the scarce few pieces. Also the bath door off the kitchen is hard to open, it drags & was like that last year. Other things are showing wear as well... like the Kitchen return air grate & cracking along the wall in living area near the ceiling..the kitchen faucet leaked bad & we had to put a bowl underneath & left a note at checkout. LOVE staying at Sandpiper Cove & have for many years & never have left a bad review, but this one needs some TLC & DEFINITELY needs outdoor furnishings. A small thing I would suggest as well is a towel bar in bathrooms instead of just a hook to help guest hang multiple towels to reuse. Also, kitchen utensils need to be looked at... no dry mess. Cups to speak of or mess. Spoons... needs to be checkied periodically that it has all the basics.

"I loved very roomy villa 2. It also had plenty of storage, a calming lake and stunning sunset view. Seating was comfortable and plentiful. It was a great location easy walk anywhere on the property. Only two negative: the beds are overdue for replacement. Very uncomfortable. The main deck furniture is in tatters. I would gladly stay again if beds were addressed. Four queens was difficult. A king somewhere would also help. We loved the BIG TV.

"The condo was in good condition with plenty of room for everyone, although the beds could have been larger. It's hard for two adults to sleep in such small beds. King or twin beds would have been better. Also towel bars in the bathrooms would help, since there was no place to put wet towels.

"we love Destin and sandpiper cove! especially the snack shack! we stayed a week in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath villa. we loved being so close to tennis courts, and the walk to the beach was decent. the main thing we did not like about our villa was the beds in the bedrooms down stairs on main floor. they were just too small,being queens. kings are what is needed. bc of the beds, we didn't sleep nearly as well as we normally do on vacation.

"Villa as dated but very nice and spacious. Many minor issues typical of older home. Some bugs in villa. Enjoyed our stay. Prop managers were a bit indifferent. Water access area around the restaurant needs cleaning up. (Charging for ice is ridiculous when you are paying this much for accommodations)
